MADISON, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct 16, 2025--

The 2025 URLgenius Creator Trend Index and Amazon Prime Day performance results reveal a Creator Economy entering a new phase of AI-driven growth. During October Prime Day, platform traffic across the URLgenius platform and its Marketplace surged 223% YoY, powered by creators automating deep linking and affiliate tracking. According to the recent index, 44% (up from 19% earlier this year) of creators now use AI tools weekly to scale content and commerce, a trend reflected in the URLgenius Marketplace’s expansion to nearly 700,000 products across 10,000 brands available to clients worldwide.

“The Commerce OmniFluencer represents the professional evolution of the Creator Economy,” said Brian Klais, founder & CEO of URLgenius. “They’re creators who operate across multiple platforms, diversify income through affiliate and brand partnerships, and use analytics and AI to understand, and ultimately optimize how engagement becomes income. What we’re seeing now is the creator economy’s next leap: business-minded creators using AI to scale like brands.”

Recognized for two consecutive years on the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing companies, URLgenius climbed 15% YoY to No. 156 in software, underscoring its expanding role as the infrastructure powering modern creator commerce. From the URLgenius Marketplace, now home to nearly 700,000 products, to its deep-linking and attribution tools, the company continues to help creators and agencies turn audience activity into measurable performance.

Creators Turn Prime Day Momentum into Holiday Readiness
Conducted just ahead of the unofficial kickoff to the 2025 holiday shopping season, the 2025 URLgenius Creator Trend Index captured U.S. creator confidence heading into Q4, the make-or-break period for many digital entrepreneurs.

  • 49% of creators say Q4 drives most of their annual income.
  • 43% of seasoned creators (6+ years) expect higher holiday earnings than last year.
  • 57% plan to increase posting frequency to meet rising demand.

Creators who integrate AI and automation are leading the pack: In just six months, regular AI adoption among creators has more than doubled, from 19% in April to 44% today. And among those using AI weekly, 71% say it’s made them more productive and confident heading into the holidays.

From Side Hustles to Scalable Small Businesses
According to the index, creators are maturing into small-business operators defined by data literacy, diversification, and discipline:

  • 65.6% URLgenius client creators identify as full-time professionals (vs. 26% of the broader panel).
  • 51% earn income from multiple sources, combining affiliate and direct commerce.
  • 71% post to two or more platforms to offset algorithmic risk.
  • Experienced creators report a 2.3x higher likelihood of stable or rising income.

This shift marks the rise of the Commerce OmniFluencer, professionals who view creativity as a business, and AI as their competitive advantage.

Amazon Fall 2025 Prime Day: A Preview of What’s to Come
October’s Prime Day was a preview of how creators will operate through the holiday season and into 2026:

  • Platform traffic volume was up 223% YoY.
  • AI-assisted Marketplace activity is 290% higher vs. July Prime Day.
  • 30% growth YoY across URLgenius creator client’s main social channel.

“October Prime Day showed how creators can turn AI-assisted product discovery and recommendations into measurable results,” noted Brian Klais, founder & CEO of URLgenius. “The strong adoption of URLgenius’ AI-driven Marketplace activity proves that with the right technology, ecommerce influencers can find high-performing products faster, earn higher commissions, and do it all without changing how they work. What was once a manual search process is now instant, intelligent, and optimized - helping creators monetize faster and deliver exactly what audiences want.”

2026 Outlook: Optimism Belongs to the Prepared
Looking ahead, confidence in 2026 correlates strongly with experience and diversification.

  • 58% of weekly AI users expect income growth next year.
  • Diversified earners are 1.8x more optimistic about 2026 than single-channel creators.
  • Veteran creators (3–5+ years) are 2x as confident about the future than newcomers.

“The next phase of the Creator Economy rewards adaptability and intelligence over scale alone,” added Klais. “The creators who measure what works, and build structure around it, are the ones who will own 2026.”

2025 URLgenius Creator Trend Index: Findings are based on the 2025 URLgenius Creator Trend Index, an online survey conducted September 19–29, 2025, among 215 verified U.S.-based creators and influencers spanning lifestyle, fashion, beauty, technology, and entertainment. The study included 97 active URLgenius clients, affiliate-focused creators using the platform for smart linking and performance tracking, and 118 creators from an independent third-party panel.
