NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct 16, 2025--

Lumera Protocol, the AI-first Layer-1 blockchain evolved from Pastel Network, today announced the rollout of the Lumera Hub, a dedicated user and developer interface that serves as the gateway to the Lumera ecosystem. Following Lumera’s mainnet debut, the Hub introduces a streamlined and powerful way for users to access, deploy, and build on Lumera’s decentralized AI and data infrastructure.

Through the Lumera Hub, users can store data permanently with Cascade, run and deploy agentic AI tasks via Inference, and verify digital assets through Sense—all while seamlessly managing transactions, minting NFTs, participating in governance, and staking to secure the network. The Hub serves as the central access point for Lumera’s intelligent modules, offering a simple yet powerful way to engage with decentralized AI computation, storage, and data integrity from a single interface.

Alongside the Hub, Lumera is also launching Cascade, a permanent decentralized storage module designed to ensure redundancy, permanence, and availability. Unlike alternative solutions such as IPFS and Arweave, Cascade addresses long-standing challenges in decentralized storage, including long-term cost models, content availability, and resistance to censorship.

Through Cascade, files are uploaded to the network and broken into small, overlapping pieces that are copied and distributed across Lumera’s network of SuperNodes. Each SuperNode stores multiple encrypted fragments, ensuring redundancy and security. If a node goes offline or loses data, Cascade’s self-healing system automatically restores the missing pieces from other nodes. This process ensures one simple guarantee: pay once, store forever.

“The Lumera Hub is designed to make our ecosystem accessible to both developers and end users, while Cascade represents a new standard for permanent storage,” said Anthony Georgiades, Co-Founder of Lumera Protocol. “We’re building infrastructure that is simple, resilient, and censorship-resistant. It is designed to last as long as the data itself.”

With the launch of the Lumera Hub, Cascade, Lumera continues advancing its mission to deliver reliable, scalable, and intelligent infrastructure for the next era of decentralized computing.

About Lumera Protocol
Lumera Protocol is a high-performance blockchain purpose-built for AI-driven Web3 economies.
