ST. LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan 8, 2026--

Hicuity Health is pleased to announce that we have earned the Telehealth Accreditation from the Joint Commission. The Joint Commission is an independent organization that sets the benchmark for safe, high-quality patient care through healthcare accreditation. Achievement of the Telehealth Accreditation formally recognizes Hicuity’s ongoing commitment to meeting rigorous performance standards and delivering the care via telemedicine that is safe and high quality.

Hicuity Health, a leader in tech-enabled clinical services, first received accreditation from The Joint Commission in 2008 and has consecutively maintained accreditation for 17 years. Hicuity was one of the first telehealth companies to pursue and receive accreditation from The Joint Commission and is now one of the early adopters of the new Telehealth Accreditation.

Hicuity underwent a rigorous survey, during which the Joint Commission surveyor assessed compliance in key areas including patient safety, continuous performance improvement, and the strength of its information management systems. The survey included observations and interviews to help ensure healthcare organizations such as Hicuity adhere to leading quality and safety practices and exhibit a culture that is committed to continuous improvement and patient care.

“We are proud to have once again achieved accreditation from The Joint Commission. It is an important confirmation that Hicuity has the systems and processes in place to ensure that patient safety and care quality remain in their rightful place as top organizational priorities,” said Lou Silverman, Hicuity Health CEO. “Everyone in our organization plays an important role in delivering high quality and safe care. I am proud of the team, and I am proud of the work we do day in and day out that makes recognition like the Telehealth Accreditation possible.”

The Joint Commission conducts their rigorous reviews and grants accreditation every three years.
