During a Monday interview on MSNBC, 2020 Democratic presidential hopeful Beto O’Rourke moved up the left-wing doomsday clock, now claiming that the world is going to end in just 10 years.

He went on to claim that “scientists tell us” that that’s what’s going to happen if drastic changes aren’t made to curb climate change.

O’Rourke’s statements come one day after he touted his plan to address climate change, claiming it will “zero out carbon emissions” over the next 30 years to the tune of $5 trillion dollars. The Hill reports according to a poll released Monday,

O’Rourke is near the top along with Joe Biden in leading the pack of Democrats for the 2020 nomination.
