Shadrach Actor Sunjay Midda Reveals He Cried for Hours Filming the Fiery Furnace Scene

Actor Sunjay Midda joins GodTube Music's Brandon Woolum on the red carpet at the world premiere of Daniel and the Fiery Furnace!

Sunjay shares the honor and responsibility of portraying the biblical hero Shadrach, what it was like filming in ancient locations in India, and the emotional toll of bringing the fiery furnace scene to life. He reveals that he cried for four to five hours while filming the climactic moment because he felt so deeply connected to what the characters were experiencing.

Daniel and the Fiery Furnace opens in theaters September 18, 2026.
