Charles Billingsley joins Brandon Woolum to talk about The Freedom Gathering: A Musical Celebration of God & Country, taking place July 3 at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. The special event will celebrate America’s 250th birthday with powerful patriotic music, worship, a massive choir, orchestra, and appearances from artists including Charles Billingsley, TaRanda Greene, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, Tim Lovelace and more.

In this interview, Charles shares what it means to celebrate America’s freedom in the nation’s capital, why true freedom ultimately begins in Christ, and his prayer for revival and unity across the country. He also opens up about mentoring the next generation of worship leaders at Liberty University and gives fans a preview of his upcoming September album, featuring new recordings of songs that shaped his own life and ministry.
