Farient Advisors CEO Robin A. Ferracone and COO and Partner R.J. Bannister Recognized As NACD Directorship 100™ Honorees

Robin A. Ferracone, founder and CEO of executive compensation, performance, and corporate governance consultancy Farient Advisors, and R.J. Bannister, COO and Partner, have been named to the National Association of Corporate Directors ' 2025 NACD Directorship 100, recognizing the most influential peer-nominated leaders in the boardroom and corporate governance community. This marks Ferracone’s 15 th and Bannister’s second time being honored with the annual award.

With more than three decades of experience as a consultant and thought leader, Ferracone is the author of “ Fair Pay, Fair Play: Aligning Executive Performance and Pay,” the seminal book on pay-for-performance alignment. She is currently on the Board of Directors at The Woodlands Financial Group (TWFG), where she serves as chair of the Compensation Committee. She formerly served on the Boards of Trupanion, Inc., where she was Chair of the Compensation Committee, and WildAid, a non-profit global conservation organization, where she was Chair of the Board.

In addition, Ferracone is trustee emeritus of Duke University and served on the Board of 50/50 Women on Boards. She is often featured as an expert source on compensation and governance issues in leading industry and business publications, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, and Agenda. Ferracone is a member of NACD, Women Corporate Directors (WCD), YPO Gold, and The Trusteeship.

Bannister joined Farient as COO and Partner in 2020. He has more than 30 years of experience consulting to the S&P 1500 and large private companies, representing the Board’s compensation committee or management, and in some cases, both parties. Before joining Farient, Bannister was a Managing Director with Willis Towers Watson.

Bannister is frequently featured in business media as an expert on compensation and governance issues, particularly around aligning pay programs with overall business strategy, and the need to focus on executive retention and talent development.
