Dakota Marketplace today announced the launch of The Dakota 500, an annual, independent recognition of leading Financial Advisors across the United States. The Dakota 500 is informed by data and research, not sponsorships, nominations, or commercial influence.

For years, the Dakota team has worked closely with Financial Advisors nationwide, developing a deep understanding of how the strongest advisory practices are built, structured, and sustained. The Dakota 500 formalizes that perspective by highlighting advisors who demonstrate scale, consistency, and the fundamentals of a well-run advisory business.

Participation does not guarantee inclusion, and final determination is made through Dakota’s independent review.

Dakota began collecting advisor input this week, with strong early participation from advisors across the country. Advisors included in The Dakota 500 will be notified ahead of the public release.

The Dakota 500 will be shared with institutional allocators, investment firms, and private wealth audiences that actively engage with the advisory community.
