VCU wins 101-58 over Coppin State

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Brandon Jennings, Keyshawn Mitchell and Jordan Tillery each scored 11 points as VCU beat Coppin State 101-58 on Saturday.

Jennings also contributed four steals for the Rams (3-2).

Jamari Piercy finished with 17 points and two steals for the Eagles (1-7). Coppin State also got seven points from Camaren Sparrrow. Khali Horton had six points.

Terrence Hill Jr. scored eight of his nine points in the first half to help put the Rams up 54-28 at the break. VCU pulled away with a 13-2 run in the second half to extend a 28-point lead to 39 points.
