Homewerks Worldwide, LLC Acquires Character’s Project Kits Product Line

LAKE BLUFF, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov 18, 2025--

Homewerks Worldwide, LLC (Homewerks), a leading home improvement innovator in the kitchen, bathroom and plumbing categories, announced today the acquisition of the Character Project Kits product line from Character Home, Inc. (Character), a home improvement company known for designing innovative solutions for DIYers.

The acquisition includes Character’s Faucet Installation Kit and Showerhead Installation Kit, two first-of-their-kind products designed to help homeowners complete plumbing projects quickly and confidently. The kits combine all necessary tools and supplies with how-to guides and videos and real-time expert support, making basic plumbing projects more accessible to homeowners of all skill levels. Homewerks will immediately integrate these products into its product portfolio and will begin offering Character Project Kits to our customers immediately following the November 18 closing date.

Character’s Project Kits are currently available in over 3,000 retail stores nationwide. The Showerhead Installation Kit launched in Lowe’s stores nationwide earlier this month.

The Showerhead Installation Kit, launched in 2025 at Lowe’s, provides a similar “do-it-with-me” home improvement experience for another common home upgrade. Together, these kits simplify two of the most popular plumbing projects for homeowners.
