SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec 17, 2024--

AMERICAN BUSINESS BANK ( OTCQX: AMBZ ) today announced its further expansion with the addition of its San Diego Regional Office. The new office is located at 4727 Executive Drive, Suite 275, in San Diego, California. The new Loan Production Office (LPO) marks a natural progression in the Bank's growing footprint across Southern California. Having established relationships with select clients in the region over the years, the timing is now ideal to formally introduce an LPO to better serve the needs of local businesses.

“While serving the best clients in Southern California, we knew San Diego was an inevitable and strategic location,” said Leon Blankstein, CEO of ABB. “Our team of highly talented bankers have experience serving the San Diego market and are eager to expand that reach, through true banking relationships, care and exceptional service.”

Led by Senior Vice President John Hartwig and First Vice President Ana Calvert, the new team brings over 60 years of combined experience in client-focused commercial banking. With their deep expertise, they are well-positioned to support San Diego’s thriving privately owned businesses. ABB’s client-centric culture is a perfect match for the area, where small to mid-sized, family-run businesses are the heart of the community.

“Our plan is to build out our LPO brick by brick, client by client, banker by banker while continuing to serve best-in-class, privately owned, middle market companies,” Hartwig added.

The San Diego LPO will offer a range of services designed to meet the unique needs of businesses in the region, including business loans, credit lines, treasury management, and deposit solutions. ABB will provide flexible, innovative financial solutions to help businesses scale and navigate an ever-changing marketplace.

American Business Bank serves closely held middle market businesses of Southern California, customizing solutions for a full spectrum of finance needs. ABB’s classically trained bankers provide insightful guidance to clients on cash flow management, financing growth, and many other matters.
