Baltimore, Maryland is planning to hire immigration attorneys to help illegal immigrants charged with crimes who are facing deportation.

Judicial Watch reports in response to the Trump administration’s immigration enforcement policies, Baltimore and other so-called “sanctuary cities” have begun to set up multi-million dollar legal defense funds to help illegal immigrants dodge justice.

Less than a year ago, Baltimore prosecutors ordered staff not to charge illegal aliens with minor non-violent crimes because it could get the offenders deported.

Baltimore has been called the deadliest big city in the United States for having the nation’s highest homicide rate and yet, a city panel has now approved spending $200,000 this month to pay for lawyers to represent criminal illegal aliens with deportation orders.
