Just months after his breakout debut, 14-year-old sensation Tate Butts returns with “Brought Me This Far.” With the long-awaited follow up, Butts leans into God's plan, sharing a reassuring message about trusting in something greater than himself. The new track follows the success of his first-ever release, “My Defender,” which debuted on Billboard's Hot Christian Songs chart at No. 38 and quickly gained traction across streaming and social platforms, ultimately resulting in invitations to perform with crossover superstar Brandon Lake and make an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show for a live interview and performance.

“For me, this song is about how even when I didn't know what was gonna happen next in my life, God already had a perfect plan!” shares Butts. “No matter what happens in life, God will always be with us. We just have to keep our faith in Him.”

“Brought Me This Far” carries a simple but powerful message: God always has a plan. Built around lyrics like “I don't know where I'm going, just that you'll pull me through” and “Every blessing from heaven has always come from you,” the song reflects a perspective far beyond his years. Rooted in gratitude and guidance, the track offers a steady reminder that even in uncertainty, there is purpose in the path forward.

Since his release of “My Defender” last year, which has reached over 15 million global streams, Butts continues to build momentum. With a purpose-driven career, the rising artist is focused on reaching a younger generation with faith-filled, motivational messages.
