Richard Ball, Chief Production Officer at Clutch
Richard brings over 25 years of experience in automotive production, lean manufacturing, and scaling complex operations with leading auto-tech and retail companies, including Carvana, Vroom, and CarMax.
At Carvana, he played a pivotal role in growing retail sales from 19,000 units in 2016 to over 412,000 by 2022. He led 6,000 employees across 15 inspection and reconditioning centers, introduced industry-leading training and leadership programs, and set new benchmarks for quality-driven automotive production. Richard has also held senior operations and engineering roles at Sonic Automotive.
Richard has been a trusted partner to Clutch, supporting the development of the company’s new headquarters in Mississauga, Ontario. This milestone expansion significantly increases Clutch’s throughput capacity for the next five years and beyond.
