Waiting is hard—especially when you're praying, hoping, and longing for answers. But God’s timing is not delayed. It’s intentional. While the world rushes and we grow restless, He is working behind the scenes in ways we can’t yet see. In this gentle devotional, we reflect on how to trust God’s timing while waiting. Whether you’re waiting for healing, breakthrough, direction, or peace, this prayer helps anchor your soul in truth. Lord, Waiting is never easy. I confess that I struggle with impatience and fear when answers don’t come quickly. But tonight, I choose to surrender my timeline and trust Your perfect timing. Help me remember that You are not late—You are wise, and You are always at work. While I wait, grow my faith. Teach me to rest instead of strive. Let this season deepen my trust, not diminish it. When I don’t see progress, remind me that You’re preparing something beautiful in the unseen. You’ve promised that all things are made beautiful in Your time—so I hold on to that promise tonight. Strengthen my heart, calm my mind, and fill me with peace that only comes from You. Help me to wait well, hope fully, and trust completely. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
