Official Contest Rules

1. The “12 Days of Christmas” Contest (“Contest”) is open to all U.S. residents eighteen (18) years of age or older who reside in the KTIE(AM) broadcast listening area in Southern California. Entrants can enter by registering for the Contest online at AM590TheAnswer.com or through the AM590 mobile application (the “App”) from Tuesday, November 28, 2017 through Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 4:00 PM PST (“Contest Period”).  Entrants may win a prize only once during the Contest, and only one (1) winner per household will be allowed during the Contest.  Employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives, and immediate family and household members of Caron Broadcasting, Inc., licensee of KTIE(AM) (“Radio Station”), its parent company, its parent’s affiliated companies, and its advertising and promotion agencies and anyone who has won from Radio Station in the last 30 days are not eligible to participate in the Contest.
   
   
2. There will be twelve (12) Prize winners. One (1) Prize winner will be drawn by random selection on each weekday during the Contest Period from among all eligible entries received via the website or the App (the “Daily Winner”).  Beginning on Monday, December 4, 2017, the Radio Station on-air announcer will announce the prize for that day at 8:05 AM PST on each weekday through Tuesday, December 19, 2017 (“Prize of the Day”).  The Daily Winner will be announced on the Jen & Don Show between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM PST that same day. The Prize winners may have to complete an affidavit of eligibility and liability and, where lawful, publicity release.  If Radio Station does not receive the affidavit and release within seven (7) days of notification, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected.  Except where prohibited by law, by signing the affidavit and release, the winners grant permission to the use of their names, likeness, pictures, portraits, hometowns, service marks, voices, biographical/other information, and statements for advertising and promotional purposes for this and other promotions by Radio Station without additional compensation. The prizes will be awarded to the winners after all required proof and documentation is received.  Odds of winning depend on the total number of entries received.  Radio Station is not responsible for entries which Radio Station does not receive due to technological/server error. Prize winners must pick up their prize at the Radio Station on weekdays during the hours of 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM PST.  If a winner is unable to pick up his or her prize due to lack of transportation, schedule conflict, or other hardship, the winner can choose to have the prize mailed to his or her residence.  If a Prize winner chooses to have his or her prize mailed, Radio Station is not responsible for lost, late, damaged or mishandled prizes while a prize is in transit from Radio Station’s office to Prize winner’s residence.

3. There are twelve (12) Grand Prizes, one (1) for each weekday from Monday, December 4, 2017 to Tuesday, December 19, 2017, as follows:

• Day 1 Prize (December 4, 2017): Prize of the Day, with an approximate retail value of $20.
• Day 2 Prize (December 5, 2017): Prize of the Day plus Day 1 Prize, with a combined approximate retail value of $70.
• Day 3 Prize (December 6, 2017): Prize of the Day plus Day 1 Prize and Day 2 Prize, with a combined approximate retail value of $95.
• Day 4 Prize (December 7, 2017): Prize of the Day plus Day 1 Prize, Day 2 Prize, and Day 3 Prize, with a combined approximate retail value of $114.95.
• Day 5 Prize (December 8, 2017): Prize of the Day plus Day 1 Prize, Day 2 Prize, Day 3 Prize, and Day 4 Prize, with a combined approximate retail value of $139.95.
• Day 6 Prize (December 11, 2017): Prize of the Day plus Day 1 Prize, Day 2 Prize, Day 3 Prize, Day 4 Prize, and Day 5 Prize, with a combined approximate retail value of $164.95.
• Day 7 Prize (December 12 , 2017): Prize of the Day plus Day 1 Prize, Day 2 Prize, Day 3 Prize, Day 4 Prize, Day 5 Prize, and Day 6 Prize, with a combined approximate retail value of $208.95.
• Day 8 Prize (December 13, 2017): Prize of the Day plus Day 1 Prize, Day 2 Prize, Day 3 Prize, Day 4 Prize, Day 5 Prize, Day 6 Prize, and Day 7 Prize, with a combined approximate retail value of $248.95.
• Day 9 Prize (December 14, 2017): Prize of the Day plus Day 1 Prize, Day 2 Prize, Day 3 Prize, Day 4 Prize, Day 5 Prize, Day 6 Prize, Day 7 Prize, and Day 8 Prize, with a combined approximate retail value of $298.95.
• Day 10 Prize (December 15, 2017): Prize of the Day plus Day 1 Prize, Day 2 Prize, Day 3 Prize, Day 4 Prize, Day 5 Prize, Day 6 Prize, Day 7 Prize, Day 8 Prize, and Day 9 Prize, with a combined approximate retail value of $348.95.
• Day 11 Prize (December 18, 2017): Prize of the Day plus Day 1 Prize, Day 2 Prize, Day 3 Prize, Day 4 Prize, Day 5 Prize, Day 6 Prize, Day 7 Prize, Day 8 Prize, Day 9 Prize, and Day 10 Prize, with a combined approximate retail value of $508.95.
• Day 12 Prize (December 19, 2017): Prize of the Day plus Day 1 Prize, Day 2 Prize, Day 3 Prize, Day 4 Prize, Day 5 Prize, Day 6 Prize, Day 7 Prize, Day 8 Prize, Day 9 Prize, Day 10 Prize, and Day 11 Prize with a combined approximate retail value of $808.95.
  
  No transfer, substitution, or cash equivalent will be given for any Prize, provided however, Radio Station may, at its sole discretion, substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

4. By participating in the Contest, each entrant agrees to abide by and be bound by all of these Official Contest Rules and the decisions of General Manager of Radio Station ("Contest Judge"). All decisions regarding the Contest including, but not limited to, selecting the winners, will be made by the Contest Judge, whose decisions shall be final.  The Contest Judge may prohibit an entrant from participating in this Contest, in his/her sole discretion, if, in the opinion of the Contest Judge, the entrant fails to abide by these rules, or otherwise acts (i) in a non-professional or inappropriate manner, (ii) with an intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other entrant or Radio Station, its parent company, its parent’s affiliated companies or its advertising and promotion agencies, or (iii) in any other disruptive manner.  The winners are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, and may be required to complete a W-9 taxpayer identification form.  All federal, state, and local laws apply.  Void where prohibited.  By participating in the Contest, each entrant agrees to release and hold Radio Station, its parent company and its parent’s affiliated companies harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, and actions of any kind in connection with the Contest or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including, without limitation, personal injuries, death, and property damage, and claims based on any libel, slander, illegal competition or trade practice, violation of rights of privacy, infringement of copyrights or other rights of third parties.
